Brian Parker “I” is a forlorn fire on the edge of an icy tundra. “II” is floating through the infinite Void...

Favorite track: I.

David Fischer Returning to this demo after the release of 二度目の災害 was a good idea, as the comparison clearly shows how much the sound of Arkhtinn has evolved and been refined over the years - which does not mean that it has been bland or less exciting in the beginning! Arkhtinn was my introduction to - and ignited my love for - very long, 'space-y' ambient and also 20+ minutes black metal tracks. As far as I am concerned, this demo should simply be considered a genre classic. It just fucking slaps. Favorite track: I.

JxGx I love the dichotomy between harsh lo-fi black metal melting into startlingly excellent space ambient drone. Arkhtinn is a must buy.

omegaspectral I love the atmosphere. It is so dense and dark.

about

"Ambient Black Metal by an entity from the North, in the vein of Paysage d'Hiver/Darkspace but slower.

This album consists of two tracks for about 40 minutes long.
A track reminiscent of Black Ambient masters as Darkspace and Paysage d'Hiver, full of hatred and coldness, which will entrench you in your most basic emotions, and a second track ambient comparable to bands like Lustre that will be there for release you from all the assimilated darkness during the listening of the first track, allowing you to travel and soothe you ...
